Dr Ghanem was educated in Egypt and qualified in 1968, Mansoura University, Egypt. He gained postgraduate experience in UK where he was promoted in posts up to the consultant level. He practiced as consultant Urologist in UK, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. During his career he reported over 60 articles. He discovered two new types of vascular shocks, proved that one physiological law is wrong and provided an alternative. He resolved the puzzles of 3 clinical syndromes; TURP syndrome, the LPHS and ARDS. He is now on an editorial board member of many journals while he is happily retired in Egypt

Dr.Alnoor Abdulla, Cardiologist, was born in Tanzania, East Africa in 1951. Dr. Abdulla is Board Certified and has Fellowships in Internal Medicine, Cardiology Subspecialty, Chest Medicine and Interventional Cardiology both in Canada and the U.S. (RCPSC & ABIM). He has practiced cardiology for over 3 decades and has been licensed in British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Washington State, California, Wisconsin and Pakistan. Dr Abdulla has been on several Boards as an Executive Member and Chairman. His experience is quite diverse with a variety of medical practice experiences, training in several areas and teaching Internationally

Dr. Mohammad Reza Movahed received his MD from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, Germany. He completed his medical residency at the University of Rochester, New York and his cardiology training at the University of South Caroline, Columbia. His final training in interventional cardiology was completed at Yale University Hospital, New Haven, Connecticut in 2000. After his training, he joined University of California Irvine as Assistant Clinical Professor and later joined University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2006 as Associate Professor of Medicine, Division of Cardiology. In July 2010, Dr. Movahed was promoted to Professor of Medicine, Tenure at the University of Arizona College of Medicine due to his excellent clinical work, teaching, service and research with over 200 peer reviewed publications. He has been Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Nuclear Cardiology at the University of California, Irvine medical Center and Director of Coronary Care Unit and Medical Director of Cardiac Transplantation at the University of Arizona Medical Center. In 2007, he joined the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System for his clinical work and as the Medical Director of Heart Transplantation. In May 2012, he joined CareMore as The Regional Cardiology Director of CareMore in Arizona while keeping his teaching and research affiliation with the VA and the University of Arizona as Professor of Medicine, tenure. His major area of research is related to coronary intervention, non-invasive cardiology and cardiovascular epidemiology. He is world-renowned for his coronary bifurcation classification known as “The Movahed Classification” He is also known for his discovery on the flattening of interventricular septum as a sign for right ventricular overload the so called “ Movahed’s sign” that can be seen during Gated SPECT studied and recently published reverse “Movahed Maneuver” that can be used for improvement of stent deliverability during difficult and tortuous vein graft interventions.

Marco Picichè (MD, Ph.D.) graduated with a degree in medicine from the University of Florence in 1995 and completed his cardiac surgery residency at the Tor Vergata University of Rome in 2000, both summa cum laude. He held regular teaching appointments at the university of Montpellier school of medicine, obtained certification by the French Board in cardiac surgery (Paris, 2007), earned his research master in surgical science (Paris, 2007), and received a university diploma in vascular surgery (Paris, 2007). In Canada he authored a research project on the occlusion of the internal mammary arteries as an alternative method of myocardial blood supply (2008, Laval University). In May 2009 he had the honor of opening the 44th Congress of the European Society for Surgical Research with a lecture on ‘‘The history of surgical research.’’ In September 2011 he received a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) in therapeutic innovations from Paris-Sud University. He is the Editor in Chief of the book: « Dawn and evolution of cardiac procedures: research avenues in cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology » (Springer-Verlag publishing house, September 2012). He patented a new surgical instrument. Currently he is a cardiac surgeon at San Bortolo Hospital in Italy.

Miguel Alejandro Farah has completed his PhD at the age of 23 years from Universidad Nacional de Córdoba and postdoctoral studies from Colegio Argentino de Cardioangiología Intervencionista-Universidad Nacional de Buenos Aires. He is the director of Interventional Cardiology Department at San Bernardo Hospital. His main interested topic is the treatment of acute myocardial infarction and reperfusion injury.

Dr. MIGUEL G. GARBER Dr. Garber has over 32 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, in addition to training, research, and development expertise in Regenerative Medicine. Over the past 18 years, he has made a significant contribution to stem cell research, specializing in the exploration and development of stem cell therapies for cardiac disorders, osteoarthritis, neurological and autoimmune diseases.
